Face Painting at Barnert Temple

On March 29th, Companion Animal Advocates (CAA) participated in the Barnert Temple’s 10th Annual Mitzvah Mall in Franklin Lakes.  CAA was one of ten charities invited to help spread the word about helping out those that are less fortunate.  Children of all ages were in attendance and came to gain a wonderful sense of what it means to be a charity and what it means to give.

October 15, 2008 - Dogs Ruled at the Commerce Bank Carnivale of the Dogs

The annual Commerce Bank Carnivale of the Dogs recently brought hundreds of dog lovers and their pooches together for a day that was all about the dogs.

The Wild Duck Pond Park in Ridgewood, NJ was transformed into a giant doggy playground.  The dogs visited a pet psychic, had their portraits drawn by a caricaturist, got a massage and participated in the first annual Delaney dog show in memory of Bill Delaney, a local trainer and founder of American Canine Academy.

Their owners checked out valuable resources for boarding, training, health care, nutrition and pet adoptions.  The event was also a fund raiser benefiting Companion Animal Advocates, a local non profit whose mission is to help people keep their pets when life's obstacles threaten to break the bond between them.
